Things I cook regularly enough (or like enough) to write down.
Pizza dough rolled with caramelized onions, beef bouillon butter, and gruyere — braided and baked into a wreath. Tastes like the bread that should have come with the soup.
A block of feta roasts with cherry tomatoes and olive oil until it melts into a sauce. One rule: the feta must be goat's or sheep's milk. Cow's milk goes grainy.
Easily the best pizza I've made at home. Top 5 even against restaurants. Heavy on the EVOO, uncooked sauce, a specific cheese blend.
Just mix a bunch of high-umami ingredients and call it a sauce. Pan-fried tofu, spinach, served over rice.
From an old link I can't find anymore. This is what I've been making from memory. No measuring. Good warm or cold.
